LONG DISTANCE TRAINS

These are all the long-distance trains that operate out of Krung Thep Aphiwat Station (KTW) in Bangkok to destinations on the Southern Line. Special Express No. 43/40 is a popular daytime diesel railcar (DRC) with 2nd Class reclining seats and air conditioning for visiting major stops on the main line. There are also many choices of sleeper trains. However, only Special Express No. 31/32 to Hat Yai Junction uses the newer CNR sleeper carriages.
