Rapid No. 133: Bangkok to Vientiane (Khamsavath)

Rapid No. 133 night train from Bangkok to Vientiane (Khamsavath)  is an international train that goes to Laos via Nong Khai. This train doesn’t go to Nakhon Ratchasima as it goes along the Bua Yai bypass (Kaeng Khoi Junction to Bua Yai Junction). You can also use this train to go to Udon Thani. The train leaves Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal Station at 9:25 p.m. and arrives in Nong Khai at 7:55 a.m. If you are continuing to Laos, you have 40 minutes to pass through Immigration. The train then leaves at 8:35 a.m. and arrives at Vinetiane (Khamsavath) Station at 9:05 a.m. If you want something more comfortable, then consider Special Express No. 25 which is a modern sleeper train. You can then switch to the international train. The return journey is made by No. 134 Rapid train.
