Dates to Buy Train Tickets for Travel in April 2025

These are the dates for booking your tickets for trains in Thailand for April 2025. On the left are the dates you must book for travel up to 180 days in the future. On the right are the travel dates and when you can book your tickets up to 180 days in the past.

For example, if you are taking the train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai on 1st October 2025, you can book from 4th April 2025 onwards.

If you are travelling at least 60% of the route, you can book up to 180 days in advance. If you are travelling less than that, but at least 25% of the route, then you can book up to 30 days in advance. For anything less, you can only book one day in advance.
