Black Bridge
The Black Bridge (Thai: สะพานดำ) is a railway bridge in Lampang, Thailand. It crosses the Wang River, connecting Nakhon Lampang Station with Bo Haew Station. The bridge was built in 1925 during the reign of King Rama VI. It is made of steel and concrete, and is 274 meters long and 10 meters wide. The bridge was originally painted red, but it was repainted black during the Second World War in order to camouflage it. This is how it got its name.
