Timetable for trains from Bangkok to Battambang via Poipet in July 2024

Royal Railway Cambodia is currently trialing Poipet Border-Sisophon-Battambang return shuttles twice daily to test the market, seating, luggage, and motorbike requirements, as well as testing the connection with the State Railway of Thailand services from Klong Luk Border to Bangkok and return.  

• Poipet (7:00am) to Battambang (9:30am)  
• Poipet (12:20pm) to Battambang (3:50pm)  
• Battambang (9:40am) to Poipet (12:10pm)  
• Battambang (4:00pm) to Poipet (6:30pm)  

Note the 12:10 arrival in Poipet allows enough time for Thailand-bound passengers to pass immigration and catch the 14:50 departure from Klong Luk to Bangkok (SRT Train Number 276).  

Note the 12:20 departure from Poipet allows enough time for Cambodia-bound passengers to pass immigration after arriving in Klong Luk at 11:17 (SRT Train Number 275 from Bangkok).

Royal Railway is currently using locomotive hauled air-conditioned coaches with a cargo van for motorbikes and other cargo.

Further updates will be provided soon regarding the future introduction of the KiHa Passenger Trains and Bus/Van connections from Sisophon Station to Siem Reap. A Phnom Penh to Poipet service is expected to start in the second half of this month.

This is the temporary timetable for the Bangkok > Ban Klong Luk > Poipet > Battambang train starting from 3rd July 2024. This timetable might be updated towards the end of July. Full service from Bangkok to Phnom Penh via a change of trains at Poipet is expected to start in the second half of this month.
