How to Pay for Train Tickets in Thailand
Many people ask me how they can pay for train tickets at railway stations and online in Thailand, particularly if they can use a credit card. If you’re using the official online site D-Ticket to purchase your tickets, you can pay in three ways: with credit cards, debit cards, and Thai QR Payments.
Foreign credit cards are generally accepted, but some people have reported difficulties making payments online, which is why foreigners often use an agency like 12Go. However, this does require paying a commission.
For QR payments, you typically need a Thai banking app on your phone. Recently, residents of neighbouring countries have been allowed to scan and pay by scanning QR Codes in Thailand.
If you’re buying at the station, cash is preferred, or you can use your Thai banking app. At larger stations, you can use credit cards and debit cards, including foreign ones. However, smaller stations may not accept cards, so it’s always a good idea to have some cash on hand just in case.

This Is Thailand.
It says data not found as you are trying to buy tickets for routes that are not available. For example, there are NO trains that go between Bangkok Station and Chiang Mai. Long distance trains go from Krung Thep Aphiwat Station.
